Chicken Road: a review of the InOut Games arcade crash game for players in Ukraine
Chicken Road is a game by InOut Games in which a chicken makes its way along a road towards a golden egg. At each stage you have to decide: keep going for a bigger multiplier, or stop and take the current payout. An unlucky step ends the round with the loss of the bet.
The original Chicken Road was released on 4 April 2024. The developer states an RTP of 98% and offers four difficulty levels. You can try the game without real-money bets in the demo right here on this page.
To play the Chicken Road demo, go to the game block above using the "demo" button. Demo mode is meant for getting to know the rules; the virtual balance cannot be withdrawn as money.
chickenroad.net.ua is an information website: it does not accept bets, run real-money games or hold visitors’ funds. We are not a gambling operator and have no affiliation with InOut Games. Real-money play is only for people aged 21 and over, and only with operators holding a valid licence in Ukraine.
What is Chicken Road?

Chicken Road is a single-player game built on consecutive steps and a decision about when to leave the round. Unlike a classic slot with reels, here the player decides after each successful crossing whether to take further risk. A higher potential multiplier comes with the risk of losing the entire bet.
| Name | Chicken Road |
|---|---|
| Developer | InOut Games |
| Release date | 4 April 2024 |
| Number of players | One |
| Stated RTP | 98% |

These features apply to the original Chicken Road, not to Chicken Road 2.0 or other games in the series. The betting range and the maximum cash payout may be set by the settings and rules of a particular implementation; the developer does not give universal values in the public game card.
How to play Chicken Road?

In Chicken Road the player gradually increases the possible payout and decides at every step whether to move on. A round consists of several decisions rather than a single automatic spin.
- Launch the demo on this page and get to know the rules of the game.
- Choose a difficulty level: Easy, Medium, Hard or Hardcore.
- If the demo provides a practice balance, use it instead of real money. Bet settings depend on the implementation of the game.
- Start a round and take a step. After a safe crossing you can either continue along the road or end the game with the current multiplier.
- End the round when you decide to take the payout. If the next step turns out to be unlucky, the bet for that round is lost.
Button names and the look of the interface may differ depending on the version and how the game is launched. Before you start, it is worth checking the rules directly in the open game. A detailed breakdown of the sequence of steps and the multipliers is on the “Chicken Road Mechanics” page.
Chicken Road difficulty levels
InOut Games confirms four modes. Their main difference is the balance between risk and the possible increase in the multiplier. The harder the mode, the riskier it becomes to move forward.
| Mode | Nature of play | What to consider |
|---|---|---|
| Easy | The lowest difficulty level | Multipliers grow more cautiously than in the harder modes. |
| Medium | Intermediate level | A balance between multiplier growth and the risk of an unlucky step. |
| Hard | Increased difficulty | A larger potential multiplier comes with a higher risk. |
| Hardcore | The highest difficulty | Moving along the route carries the greatest risk of all the modes. |
Check the exact multipliers and the number of steps in the rules of the demo on this page. Tables with inconsistent values that turn up in reviews should not be taken as official data.
RTP 98%, multipliers and winnings in Chicken Road

For the original game the developer states an RTP of 98%. RTP is a theoretical measure of how much of the bets is returned over a large number of rounds under the conditions built into the game's mathematical model. It does not mean that a player will win 98 out of 100 rounds or get back 98% of their money during their own short session.
The potential payout depends on the bet and the multiplier at the moment the round ends. For example, with a notional bet of 100 hryvnia and a multiplier of x1.5, the total payout would be 150 hryvnia, that is, 50 hryvnia above the amount staked. This is only an example of the arithmetic, not a forecast of the outcome or confirmation of a specific multiplier in the game.
Continuing along the route increases the possible payout, but at the same time creates the risk of losing the bet. No sequence of clicks, choice of a “lucky” time or previous results guarantee that the next step will be successful. The maximum cash payout should be checked separately: it may have limits that do not follow from the multiplier alone.
Chicken Road on your phone — Android and iOS
The game can be found in the web interface of gaming platforms. Whether a particular version works on a phone depends on the site, browser, device and regional restrictions. Before launching, check compatibility on the platform itself.
The game being available in a browser does not mean that an official Chicken Road app for Android or iOS exists. Do not install third-party APK files or programs that promise to hack the game, guaranteed multipliers or automatic wins. Their origin and safety may be unconfirmed.
Pros and cons of Chicken Road
Pros:
- Simple basic rules: move forward or take the current payout.
- Four difficulty modes confirmed by the developer.
- The option to end the round after a successful step without going the whole way.
- An officially stated RTP of 98% for the original version.
Cons:
- A single unlucky step can lead to the loss of the entire bet.
- A high multiplier does not mean a high probability of getting it.
- Availability of the game and payout terms vary from platform to platform.
- The provider's public description does not contain a full table of multipliers or the numerical odds of each step.
Chicken Road reviews
When assessing reviews of Chicken Road, it is important to separate the properties of the game itself from the experience of using a particular site. Ease of control, the pace of rounds and the clarity of the rules relate to gameplay. Complaints about registration, deposits or withdrawals, on the other hand, may concern the operator rather than InOut Games.
Claims of “predictable” results and guaranteed winnings should be checked separately: a single success does not prove that a working scheme exists. The “Chicken Road Reviews” page can host verified comments with the source and date given, without passing off advertising claims as the experience of real players.
Chicken Road and Chicken Road 2.0 — what is the difference?
Chicken Road and Chicken Road 2.0 are separate InOut Games releases. The most noticeable difference among the confirmed features is the RTP: 98% is stated for the first game and 95.5% for the second. That is why data on the difficulty, bonuses or multipliers of one version cannot automatically be carried over to the other.
| Feature | Chicken Road | Chicken Road 2.0 |
|---|---|---|
| Release date | 4 April 2024 | 15 April 2025 |
| RTP | 98% | 95.5% |
| Developer | InOut Games | InOut Games |
Detailed features of the sequel are given in a separate article, “Chicken Road 2”.
Is Chicken Road available in Ukraine?
InOut Games includes Ukraine in its list of countries with restricted access to its games. Therefore, a page named Chicken Road, an advertisement or a video featuring the game does not confirm that the original game is legally available for real-money betting in Ukraine.
Access to the demo version and an operator's right to run gambling are separate matters. To play for real money, you need to take into account the law, the provider's rules and the terms of the particular operator. In Ukraine, gambling is permitted for persons aged 21 and over, subject to other legal requirements. Only play with money you can afford to lose; do not try to win back your losses.
FAQ
Who created the game Chicken Road?
The original Chicken Road was developed by InOut Games. The official release date is 4 April 2024. The game should not be confused with Chicken Road 2.0, which came out later and has a different RTP.
Can I play Chicken Road for free?
Yes. The Chicken Road demo can be launched directly on this page to get to know the rules without real-money bets. The virtual demo balance cannot be withdrawn as money.
Do I need to download Chicken Road?
For the available browser version, no separate program needs to be installed. Whether a download is needed depends on the particular platform. An official Android or iOS app should not be considered confirmed on the basis of third-party download pages alone.
Is there a no-lose strategy?
No, there is no confirmed no-lose strategy. The choice of difficulty and of the moment to end the round changes the nature of the risk, but does not make it possible to predict the outcome of the next step with certainty. An RTP of 98% does not mean a guaranteed return of money to an individual player.
