How Visitor Data Is Handled

chickenroad.net.ua is a static reference site: there is no registration, no personal accounts and no payment forms. That means there is little visitor data, and almost all of it is technical. This page explains where it comes from and what happens to it.

The short version

  • The site does not ask for your name, phone number, documents, card details or game account details.
  • The server automatically records technical information about requests.
  • Cookies are used to remember settings and to produce anonymised statistics.
  • When you follow an affiliate link, the partner records the fact of the click.
  • Visitor data is not sold or passed on for mailing lists.

Web server logs

Like any web server, the site's server logs every request: the IP address, date and time, the address of the page opened, the address of the page the visitor came from, and the browser and device type. These records are needed to find technical errors, fend off attacks and understand the load on the site. The logs are not used to build a profile of any particular person, and they are kept for a limited time and then deleted.

Cookies for settings and statistics

Cookies are small files that the browser stores on your device. Two kinds may be used on the site:

  • Preference cookies remember, for example, the language version you chose, so you do not have to switch it again.
  • Analytics cookies give an anonymised picture of visits: which sections are read, how long people spend on them and what devices they use.

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Without analytics cookies the site works just the same; your visit simply will not appear in the statistics.

The embedded demo and affiliate clicks

The demo version of the game is loaded into the page from the provider's servers. When you start it, the provider receives technical data about the request and may use its own cookies. That processing follows the provider's rules, not the site's.

Affiliate links contain a referral tag. When a visitor clicks such a link, the affiliate system or the operator records the click so that a possible registration can be credited. What exactly the partner keeps, and for how long, is set out in its own privacy policy.

Retention and access to data

Data is kept no longer than needed for the purposes described. It is accessible to the people who maintain the site and to technical contractors, such as hosting and the statistics service, within the scope of their tasks. Information may be disclosed to public authorities only in cases expressly provided for by law.

Visitor rights

A visitor may find out whether data about them is being processed, obtain information about it, request its correction or deletion, object to processing and withdraw consent to analytics cookies. Requests are handled by the site administration through the contact means listed on the site. Please note that a single server log entry usually cannot identify a person with certainty, so we may need more details to verify a request.

Updates to this policy

If the data collected or the way it is processed changes, the updated text will be published on this page. The new version takes effect from the moment of publication.
